Our budget mattress replacement solution that encompasses all the benefits of a high end system, the Aeria 8 Mattress Replacement System is indicated for the prevention and treatment of skin breakdown and pressure ulcers in patients at medium to high risk.
The mattress replacement is constructed from 21 transverse cells – 8 inch 200 mm high – that cyclically inflate and deflate in an alternating pattern. Cyclic alternation of pressure prevents arterial and venous capillary occlusion in surface tissue – maintaining and stimulating the flow of blood and lymphatic fluids through these tissues to provide essential oxygen and remove metabolic waste.
