Aeria Sit

The Aeria Sit is indicated for the prevention and treatment of skin breakdown and pressure ulcers in patients at all grades of risk, in conjunction with the appropriate Aeria dynamic mattress surface and under constant supervision from a healthcare professional.

Suitable for transitory periods of day chair use as part of a 24-hour continuous care pressure management solution, the seating overlay is constructed from 6 horizontal cells – 2.5 inch 65 mm high – that cyclically inflate and deflate in an alternating pattern.  Cyclic alternation of pressure prevents arterial and venous capillary occlusion in surface tissue – maintaining and stimulating the flow of blood and lymphatic fluids through these tissues to provide essential oxygen and remove metabolic waste.

A firm internal foam base and static front edge aids user stability and supports strong posture.
