For a truly economic option, the Aeria Bmat combines a bubblemat overlay offering alow risk patients a practical alternative to static pressure care.
The Aeria Bmat Mattress Overlay System is indicated for the prevention and treatment of skin breakdown and pressure ulcers in patients at low risk.
The overlay is constructed from 130 cell sections – 2.5 inch 65 mm high – that cyclically inflate and deflate in an alternating pattern.
Cyclic alternation of pressure prevents arterial and venous capillary occlusion in surface tissue – maintaining and stimulating the flow of blood and lymphatic fluids through these tissues to provide essential oxygen and remove metabolic waste.
